A tragedy occurred on the Northern Marmara Highway in Turkey when a bus traveling from Diyarbakır-Istanbul route crashed into toll booth guardrails and subsequently burst into flames, resulting in the deaths of two people and injuries to eight others.
The incident occurred at the toll plaza near the Işıklar intersection in the Eyüp Sultan district of Istanbul. According to reports from Turkish media, the driver reportedly lost control of the bus, causing it to crash into the toll booth barriers.
After the collision, the bus quickly caught fire, and the moment of impact and the spread of the fire were captured by a security camera.

Turkish Gendarmerie forces rushed to the scene, where they evacuated the bus and rescued the passengers from the burning vehicle.
Two people lost their lives and eight were injured in the incident, with one of the injured in serious condition, according to Turkish media reports.
