New information regarding the circumstances and time of George Mazonakis’s death has come to light: data from the plasma exchange machine used by doctors Elias Theodoropoulos and Ioanna Gaka at the Kolonaki clinic on that fateful day reportedly recorded the moment the singer’s heart stopped
According to this information, the machine’s data recorded 3:15 p.m. as the time when the singer’s heart stopped, although the machine had been operating since earlier. It should also be noted that, based on the latest information, the machine was set to standard time and not daylight saving time.
It should be recalled that the documentary photograph presented by prototheme.gr shows that the machine used at the Kolonaki clinic had begun operating at 2:45 p.m. About half an hour later, at 3:15 p.m., the alarms on the plasmapheresis machine sounded two or three times, indicating that something was wrong with the patient.
In fact, Dr. Ilias Theodoropoulos was in the examination room at that very moment.

Based on this information, there remains a gap of approximately 40 minutes during which the two doctors did not notify EKAΒ, as they called the national emergency response center after 4 p.m. to report that of one of their patients.
Finally, based on this information, the photograph recovered from Ioanna Gaka’s cell phone—which is said to have been taken at 2:45 p.m. last Wednesday— is believed to have been taken for promotional purposes for the clinic.
Doctors Theodoropoulos and Gaka at the Evelpidon Courts
Meanwhile, shortly before 1:00 p.m., doctors Theodoropoulos and Gaka were brought to the courthouse at the former Evelpidon Academy to answer charges related to the death of Giorgos Mazonakis.
For now, the two are charged with causing death by negligence; however, according to information reported earlier by protothema.gr, they may also face charges of manslaughter with possible intent.
The additional charges, however, have not yet been filed, as according to reports, the investigating judge is awaiting new digital evidence from the Hellenic Police.
