Following the 2-1 loss to Anorthosis at the “Freedom Antonis Papadopoulos” Stadium, APOEL is now turning its attention to the next derby, this time against Apollon, this coming Saturday (September 19, 7:00 p.m.) at “Algamega Stadium.”
Nikos Papadopoulos saw his team face several defensive problems in their last match, as Konstantinos Laifis and Álvaro Carillo were ruled out at the last minute. As if that weren’t enough, Giorgos Angelopoulos also had to be substituted during the match.

Now, the Greek coach must find solutions and put together the right starting lineup for the tough match against the “Blues.” The medical report is expected to clarify the status of the injured players in the coming days.
On the positive side for the “blue-and-yellows” is the return of Dalcio, who has served his suspension following his ejection in the match against AEK and will be available again.
