A 48-year-old man was seriously injured in a workplace accident that occurred around 1:40 p.m. today in Nicosia.
Specifically, while the 48-year-old was working at a construction site in Nicosia, under circumstances that are under investigation, he lost his balance and fell to the second-floor landing from a height of approximately 2 meters.

The 48-year-old was transported by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital, where he was admitted for treatment. According to the attending physicians, he has suffered a cerebral hemorrhage, and his condition is considered serious.
The Agios Dometios Police Station, in cooperation with the Labor Inspectorate, is continuing its investigation.
