Nikos Tornaritis expresses his heartfelt thanks to Nikos Christodoulidis, Konstantinos Kompos, and the government, for his appointment by the Council of Ministers as Special Political Envoy of the President of the Republic for Cyprusto countries in Asia and Africa.

In a written statement, he described his appointment as “an important mission for our country” and said he is assuming his duties “with full awareness of the responsibility.”
“I will work consistently and resolutely to promote the positions of the Republic of Cyprus and to strengthen international support for the struggle to end the occupation and reunify our homeland. The Cyprus issue is a national and collective cause. With unity, seriousness, and credibility, we continue our efforts toward a just, sustainable, and workable solution, based on United Nations resolutions and the principles of international and European law.”
