Karypidis Banned from Stadiums for 15 Days—Fines for the Big 4

The Stoiximan Super League’s First-Instance Single-Member Disciplinary Committee has banned Theodoros Karipidis from entering the playing field and locker rooms for 15 days. The Aris FC executive is accused of moving toward the referees’ area at halftime during the derby against PAOK at Toumba Stadium, while also verbally abusing Leo Matos.

At the same time, fines of 2,500 euros were imposed on Olympiacos and PAOK, and fines of 1,000 euros each on Panathinaikos and AEK for minor infractions during the 4th matchday.

The disciplinary body’s decisions in detail:

“—Imposes on T. KARIPIDIS, for the acts for which he was found to have committed a disciplinary offense, a ban from entering the playing field and the locker rooms for fifteen (15) days (violation of Articles 1, 5 et seq., 10(1)(b), (d), 11, 12, and 14(1), (2), (3), and (4)(b) of the EPO Disciplinary Code).

-Imposes on Olympiacos FC a) a fine of two thousand (2,000.00) euros for the first offense (violation of Articles 1, 5 et seq., 14, paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4, subparagraph a, and Article 15, paragraph 2, subparagraph a, (i) of the EPO Disciplinary Code) and b) a fine of one thousand (1,000.00) euros for the second offense (violation of Articles 1, 5 et seq., 14, paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4, subparagraph (a), and 15, paragraph 1, subparagraph (a) of the EPO Disciplinary Code).
It sets a total fine in the amount of two thousand five hundred (2,500.00) euros.

-Imposes on PAOK FC: a) a fine of two thousand (2,000.00) euros for the first offense (violation of Articles 1, 5 et seq., 14, paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4, subparagraph a, 15, paragraph 1, subparagraph a, of the EPO Disciplinary Code) and b) a fine of one thousand (1,000.00) euros for the second offense (violation of Articles 1, 5 et seq., 14, paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4, subparagraph (a), and 15, paragraph 1, subparagraph (c), of the EPO Code of Conduct).
It sets the total fine at two thousand five hundred (2,500.00) euros.

-Imposes on Panathinaikos FC a fine of one thousand (1,000.00) euros (violation of Articles 1, 5 et seq., 14, paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4, subparagraph a, and 15, paragraph 1, subparagraph c, of the EPO Disciplinary Code).

-Imposes on AEK FC a fine of one thousand (1,000.00) euros (violation of Articles 1, 5 et seq., 14, paragraphs 1, 2, 3, and 4, subparagraph b, and 15, paragraph 1, subparagraph c, of the EPO Disciplinary Code).”
