The new academic year kicks off with experiences, contests, and… travel, as AEGEAN returns once again to UNIFEST 2026 as a Silver Sponsor through the genAIRation AEGEAN program.
Cyprus’s largest back-to-school festival returns from September 21 through October 15, with stops in Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, and Paphos, with more than 15,000 students expected to participate in this year’s events. Organized by StudentLife, UNIFEST has been a gathering place for the student community since 2015, combining activities, contests, entertainment, and unique experiences.

A stop at AEGEAN with a destination in mind… your next trip
As part of this year’s event, AEGEAN is setting up its own interactive booth, inviting students to take a different kind of “stop” between festival activities and get into a travel mood for a little while.
Through an interactive photo booth, visitors will be able to create their own photos and videos by selecting favorite destinations from the AEGEAN network and transporting themselves—even if just for a moment— the UNIFEST setting to the destination they’d like to visit.
The biggest travel highlight, however, will be the contest for free pairs of airline tickets. genAIRation AEGEAN members will have the opportunity to participate and win their next trip with the person of their choice.
And for those who don’t win the tickets, a visit to the booth will still have its own surprises, with commemorative gifts such as keychains, hats, folding fans, fabric bags, and stickers.
The AEGEAN activation will follow UNIFEST to all of its stops in Cyprus, giving students the opportunity to visit it at their own university or in their city.
