The “blue-and-whites” are coming off a scoreless draw (0-0) against Omonia and want to capitalize on home-field advantage to bounce back and head into the international break with the best possible momentum.
For its part, the Nicosia-based team will seek to put its loss to Anorthosis (2-1) and come away with three points from a… hostile stadium, earning the privilege of training in peace until the season resumes.
History is on Apollon’s side, as they have never lost to the “blue-and-yellows” at the new Limassol stadium, with three wins and three draws.
Ernán Lozada is once again called upon to manage several absences, with Spoljaric, Gaspar, Ljubic, Brown, and Andreou all ruled out.
On the other side, Nikos Papadopoulos welcomes the returns of Dalcio and Laifis, while he will be without the services of Marquinhos, Carillo, Mancini, Piero, and Kattirtzis.
