The police will implement enhanced security measures and traffic controls today in Limassol, in anticipation of the soccer match between Apollon and APOEL for the 4th round of the league.
The match will take place at the ALFAMEGA Stadium in Kolossi and will begin at 7:00 p.m.
According to a police announcement, starting at 5:30 p.m., the main road leading to the stadium may be temporarily closed to traffic if deemed necessary for safety reasons.
Fans are urged to arrive at the stadium early to avoid crowding and delays during entry checks.
Special arrangements have been made for APOEL fans, who are asked to follow police instructions and use the designated routes to the stadium, in order to prevent encounters with fans of the home team.
A valid ticket and fan card will be required for entry into the stadium, and security checks will be conducted at the entrances. Among other things, it is prohibited to bring flares, firecrackers, and other dangerous objects into the stadium.
The Police urge fans to demonstrate sportsmanship and to comply with the instructions of police officers and stadium staff.
