Speaking to the Serbian media, Cedi Osman discussed his transfer to PAOK, noting that he may now be the team’s leader at the “Double-Headed Eagle of the North.”
“It was a difficult summer. It wasn’t easy, but I spoke with Coach Trinchieri, I spoke with the president, and they really showed a great, great desire to have me and that they want me at this club. Their biggest goal is to make it to the EuroLeague, so that really attracted me,” he said, adding:

“Specifically, I have a lot of freedom and the opportunity to be a leader on the team. That was one of the most important things for me. They showed a lot of interest, so that really influenced my decision.”
On his goals for this season with PAOK:
“I think it’s still too early to talk about that. Of course, our goal is to win, but we’re taking it one game at a time. I think we have a lot of work to do. We still have a long way to go,” he emphasized, adding about the final play of the game against Partizan and Kalathis’s pass:
“I told him myself that he’s gone crazy. I mean, seeing Marcus, all alone in the corner… Really, not every point guard can do that.”
