Babis Kostoulas was one of the key players in Brighton’s big 3-0 victory over Arsenal, and shortly after the match ended, he wanted to share his joy on social media.
The 19-year-old forward posted photos from the game, writing that he was “proud to have worn the anniversary jersey and celebrated Brighton’s 125th anniversary, followed by a big win.”
Kostoulas played a decisive role in the outcome, as he was initially credited with the assist on Pascal Gross’s goal in the 31st minute, and then, shortly before the end of the first half, he scored an impressive goal of his own. After receiving a through ball from Gomes, he turned his body outside the box and fired a powerful low shot past Raya into the net to make it 2-0.
