The Greek national team is entering a particularly demanding period, as it has four Nations League matches ahead of it in just a few days. Ivan Jovanović announced his roster, which includes several changes and two notable absences: Lazaros Rota and Tasos Bakasetas.
Lazaros Rota is absent from the roster due to a last-minute issue (though AEK has not yet provided any related update), with Manolis Saliakas taking his place. Dimitris Giannoulis was also left out, with Giorgos Kyriakopoulos called up in his place, while Giannis Michailidis joined the squad in place of Pantelis Hatzidiakos.
Tasos Bakasetas will also be absent from the four-match series, as it was determined that he is not yet ready to be included in the roster. Thanasis Androutsos took his place, with Ivan Jovanović making several changes overall in anticipation of the demanding schedule.
The Greek national team has four matches ahead of it, starting with away games against Serbia on September 24 and Germany on the 27th, followed by home matches against the Netherlands on October 1 and Germany on October 4.
Here is Ivan Jovanović’s full roster:
