U.S. President Donald Trump assured Fox News today that the Shiite Houthi rebels in Yemen, who have launched attacks against Saudi Arabia, have agreed not to attack the U.S., adding that he is in the process of making decisions regarding the war in Iran.
“The president stated that the U.S. is in constant contact with the Houthis, who have agreed not to fight the U.S.,” said TV network reporter Trey Youngs.
Furthermore, Trump noted that he is in a “decision-making phase” regarding the war in Iran.

“My question is whether and when I will blow up the entire country. It would be best if they behaved properly,” the U.S. president emphasized.
According to him, the options he is currently considering are to wipe out the country, let it “rot” economically, or negotiate a deal, adding that “very big things will happen in the not-too-distant future.”
When asked about the UN General Assembly, which begins Monday in New York, Trump hinted that he is open to a diplomatic approach to resolving the conflict, saying that “he would likely be open” to the possibility of meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeskian.
Furthermore, Iranian authorities closed the French Language Center (CLF), one of the country’s main institutions for teaching the French language and affiliated with the French Embassy, citing its involvement in “illegal activities,” the Iranian judiciary announced today without providing further details.
“By decision of the Tehran Prosecutor’s Office, the illegal center linked to the French Embassy in Tehran (known as CLF), which had been operating for years under the guise of language instruction, has been shut down,” the Mizan news agency of the judiciary reported.
