The hypnotherapist, Nassos Komianos, to testify, as he said, as a witness in the investigation into the death of Giorgos Mazonakis at his private clinic in Kolonaki.
The sleep therapist’s appearance before the investigating judge is considered particularly important for the progress of the investigation, as he is reportedly the person who received from the Kolonaki doctor currently in custody, Ioanna Gaka, a photograph of the singer taken during the blood-letting procedure.

“You’ll find out,” he said when asked why Ioanna Gaka had sent him the photo of Giorgos Mazonakis.
“I came to assist the investigator in his work. I can’t reveal anything to you; the investigation is ongoing,” he said as he left the investigator’s office and, addressing the reporters, added: “Thank you for humiliating me. Stop dragging my name through the mud.”
However, he stated that he had met with Giorgos Mazonakis only once.
Finally, his attorney, Ioannis Glykas, stated: “The interrogation is confidential. It is not possible to disclose any details. My client is a witness and came to the investigator of his own free will to assist with the investigation.”
What the hypnotherapist told the investigator
The hypnotherapist claimed that he and the 56-year-old doctor had maintained a formal professional relationship through a collaboration agreement for a long period of time. He also reportedly claimed that he was introduced to Giorgos Mazonakis through people in the singer’s professional circle, specifically a well-known artist manager and a nightclub entrepreneur.
At the same time, he claimed that he had an initial meeting with Giorgos Mazonakis on Monday, September 7, and that on the afternoon of September 9, they had scheduled another meeting so that he could get the background story from the singer.
The investigator is awaiting the results of the lifting of the confidentiality of the communications of the two detained doctors in order to determine with whom they communicated and how many times during the critical hours. According to reports, it cannot be ruled out that there were other communications between the doctor and the hypnotherapist, which, if confirmed, would likely steer the investigator’s inquiry in other directions.
It should be noted that Mr. Komianos arrived at the investigator’s office at 10 a.m. to provide explanations regarding a series of issues that have come under scrutiny by the authorities.
Upon his arrival, he made no statement to the journalists present at the scene.
