Authorities are examining new evidence in the case of the death of Giorgos Mazonakis, as the investigation continues and expands.
The focus is not only on the two doctors who have been remanded in custody, but also on the statements of employees at the Kolonaki clinic, the digital data that has been collected, as well as the telephone communications of individuals connected to the case.

The statements by the Hellenic Police (EL.AS.) press spokesperson, Konstantia Dimoglidou, who spoke to SKAI on the morning of Tuesday, September 22, and left open the possibility that the investigation might reveal the involvement of yet another individual.
As she stated, “we cannot rule out the involvement of any other third party,” clarifying that the investigation is still ongoing and all evidence is being evaluated.
One of the key points being examined by the authorities is the testimony of employees at the clinic on Karneadou Street, where Giorgos Mazonakis suffered a cardiac arrest.
