Our U-19 National Youth Team continues its preparations with daily training sessions ahead of its trip to Moldova for two friendly matches.
Training sessions are taking place at the Pyrgos Community Stadium, and as an update to the initial roster, Andreas Avraam has been added to replace Kontopoulos, who was called up to the U-21 national team.
The friendlies in Moldova will take place on Sunday, September 27, and Tuesday, September 29, respectively, and will be the first for our team under head coach Christos Charalambous.
The squad will depart for its destination this coming Saturday.
Our national team is preparing for its participation in the Group B stage of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
Specifically, in Group 6, it will face Armenia and Albania in matches to be held this coming November in Cyprus.
