Jürgen Klopp has imposed clear rules on the German national team and the players he has called up, with the aim of bringing order to the team’s locker room.
The German media is already focusing heavily on the changes being implemented by the country’s new national team coach, who has established strict rules. Here are the four of them…
First, Klopp informed the players that the entire team would eat together. Previously, the national team players ate whenever they wanted between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Now, however, Klopp has made it clear that everyone will eat together either at 7:00 p.m. or at 8:00 p.m.
The second rule is that cell phones will not be allowed before matches, as he wants everyone to be fully focused on the team’s games.
As for the hotels, Klopp stated that visits from hairdressers are prohibited before matches for players who were accustomed to having their hair styled, and similarly, visits from relatives—which, when will require Klopp’s approval.
