The 34-year-old man, who was arrested following a car chase that took place in the early morning hours on the streets of Limassol, appeared today before the Limassol District Court, with the court issuing a seven-day detention order.

It is recalled that, around 5:30 a.m., a Cyprus Police patrol spotted a 34-year-old man in the Neos Limani area who was the subject of outstanding arrest warrants.
The 34-year-old attempted to flee, ramming a patrol car with his vehicle, while also dragging a police officer who tried to subdue him.
During the chase, police fired warning shots, and authorities managed to apprehend him. The 34-year-old resisted arrest and attempted to flee again.
