Nicosia District Court: Two youths banned from sports fields—what offenses did they commit, and what fines were imposed on them?

They had been arrested at the GSP Stadium on May 29, 2026

On September 14, 2026, against two individuals aged 20 and 29. They were also fined €1,000 and €1,300, respectively.

The two defendants were found guilty by the Nicosia District Court on charges of conspiracy to commit a felony, transporting explosive materials without a license, and carrying an offensive weapon in the immediate vicinity of a sports facility.

The above individuals were arrested at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia on May 29, 2026, where the cup final between the APOLLON and PAFOS teams was being held.
