He’s taken over the German national team; he won’t have the pressure and daily grind of a club coach—with games every three days—and that… suits him just fine.
Kloppo has returned to coaching full of enthusiasm and visibly changed and rejuvenated, with the international players—who will also face the Greek national team in League A of the Nations League — giving it their all to earn his respect.
The German coach had stepped down from the Liverpool bench in 2024, praising, at the time, his successor, Arne Slot, had left a tremendous legacy at “Anfield,” but had felt he could no longer continue.
And after taking a two-year break to enjoy a different life, he’s now dived back into the world of soccer, even if he won’t have to navigate the pressure and intensity he faced with the “Reds.”
