The Brazilian national team is in Australia for two friendly matches, having put its World Cup disappointment behind it and moved on to the next chapter, with Carlo Ancelotti remaining at the helm.
The experienced Italian coach was asked about the different situations facing the two stars of the “Seleção,” Rafinha and Vinícius, given that the former is currently the hottest player in Europe (14 goals with Barcelona), while the Real Madrid star is off to a modest start with just one goal and three assists.

“The situation is different for each of them. Rafinha is doing amazing things in a position that wasn’t originally his, but one that seems to be gradually becoming his own. As for Vinícius, he’s probably going through a more complicated phase right now. But we’re convinced that both will be key players in the future,” Ancelotti noted.
