Dimitris Diamantakos has found the next stop in his career after APOEL.
Anagennisi Karditsas, a few days after reaching an agreement with the Greek forward, officially announced his signing, bolstering its offensive line for the Superbet League 2 championship.

“Anagennisi Karditsas is bolstering its offense with Dimitris Diamantakos. The 33-year-old Greek center forward returns to Greek soccer after 11 years playing abroad, bringing with him experience from five different countries.
Diamantakos began his professional career with Olympiacos and also played for Panionios, Aris, and Ergotelis. In 2015, he began his international career: in Germany, he played for Karlsruhe, Bochum, and St. Pauli. This was followed by Hajduk Split in Croatia, Ashdod in Israel, Kerala Blasters and East Bengal in India, while his final stop was APOEL in Cyprus. He has also represented the Greek national team.
Born on March 5, 1993, Diamantakos plays as a striker and stands 1.84 m tall. His arrival in Karditsa marks his return to the Greek league for the first time since 2015.
