30 years, dozens of major hits, and five unforgettable musical events. Antonis Remos is getting ready to celebrate one of the most significant anniversaries of his career in Cyprus, and he won’t be alone.
On Wednesday, September 30, the Tafros Davila in Nicosia will be transformed into a massive music venue for the anniversary concert “ANTONIS REMOS 30 – 30 Years in Your Hearts, 30 Years All Yours,” with the popular singer welcoming some of the biggest names in the Greek music scene to join him on stage.
ΣΧΕΤΙΚΑ ΑΡΘΡΑ
Following the major concert in Thessaloniki, the celebration of his 30-year artistic career culminates in Cyprus, with a large-scale production that aims to musically unite the past, the present, and the next chapter of his journey through music.
The five artists who will join him on stage
The guest list alone is enough to raise expectations. Natasa Theodoridou, Despina Vandi, Christos Mastoras, Elena Paparizou, and Giorgos Theofanous will join Antonis Remos at the Davila Moat, creating unique musical collaborations throughout the evening.
These are artists with whom Antonis Remos has collaborated musically at various points in his long career. Natasa Theodoridou and Despina Vandi, two of the most recognizable female voices on the Greek music scene, will join Antonis Remos on stage, and Elena Paparizou will also be a part of the big night.
He will also be joined by Christos Mastoras, representing a different generation of contemporary Greek music, while Giorgos Theofanous will hold a special place in the evening, as Antonis Remos has been linked to him through significant musical moments.
Five different personalities, five distinct musical journeys, and one common thread: a concert dedicated to Antonis Remos’s 30-year career.
A retrospective of 30 years of success
The evening will be a musical retrospective spanning three decades of his career. Songs associated with different eras, significant collaborations, and tracks beloved in Greece, Cyprus, and abroad will form the core of the program.
The singer will be accompanied by a large orchestra, under the direction of Nikos Zervas and Yiannis Diskos, while the production will feature audiovisual effects and state-of-the-art technical equipment.
The concert will take place in the heart of Nicosia
Through a giant LED screen and high-definition live-feed cameras, the concert will be broadcast beyond the venue, allowing the public to watch it from Konstantinou Paleologou Street and Eleftherias Square.
Music with a Social Purpose
At the same time, the concert is linked to a charitable cause. Admission to the Davila Moat requires an admission ticket with a €3 donation to the Cyprus Red Cross; Ticketmaster CY is the official provider of the tickets.
