Two people were placed in 7-day custody in connection with the discovery of 10 9-millimeter firearms and 50 rounds of ammunition in a truck from Turkey that arrived by ship from Mersin to occupied Famagusta.
According to reports from the occupied territories, the “court” in Famagusta, the “police” stated that they are investigating who the weapons were intended for and for what purpose, and that two more individuals connected to the case are being sought.
The “police,” as was also reported, acted on a tip and inspected the truck in question, discovering the weapons.
