Zalgiris will face Olympiacos with one key player missing, as Nigel Williams-Goss will be sidelined for about two weeks.
The American guard suffered an injury to his right hamstring and, as announced by the Lithuanian team, will miss their upcoming games, including the game against the Piraeus team at the “Zalgirio Arena” next Tuesday (September 29, 8:00 p.m.).
He suffered the injury shortly before the end of Zalgiris’s game against Red Star in the EuroLeague opener. Williams-Goss had a strong performance in Kaunas’s victory, scoring 14 points, dishing out 6 assists, grabbed 2 rebounds, and made 2 steals.
