The Premier League clubs—which were expected to rule against Manchester City in the case involving 115 financial violations—are seeking compensation, both moral and financial.
And with the independent committee’s ruling that the “Citizens” are guilty of 114 of the violations identified in the club’s financial records from 2009 to 2018, the Champions’ rivals are preparing their next moves.
According to David Ornstein, the clubs’ lawyers have already been instructed to examine every aspect of the case and push for the imposition of the strictest possible penalty against City.
