The prisoner who managed to escape yesterday, Friday, while in custody at the Lakatamia police station remains at large.
Police investigations to locate him are in full swing, and his personal details and photograph have been released to the public to assist the police in their efforts to find him.

It should be noted that authorities in the Nicosia District were put on alert Friday night following the inmate’s escape from the Lakatamia police detention center.
The circumstances under which the young detainee escaped remain unknown at this time and are expected to be investigated at a later stage.
Initial reports indicate that the individual is a 19-year-old man from Syria.
