Lionel Scaloni has begun talks with the Argentine Football Association to renew his contract and continue as head coach of the country's national team.
Late last night, the Argentine Football Association revealed via a photo that talks had begun with its president regarding Scaloni’s continued tenure.
“Discussions have begun between Federation President Claudio Tapa and Coach Lionel Scaloni regarding the renewal of his contract with the national team,” the country’s football association stated. A move that, according to many, suggests an agreement between the two sides is imminent, with everyone expecting that an official confirmation will follow shortly.
