A foreign man was found around noon on Saturday floating unconscious among the rocks of a breakwater in the tourist area of Pyla, and was subsequently taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to a police statement, the report about the man was received around 12 noon on Saturday, and after he was brought to the beach, he was given first aid.

He was then transported to Larnaca General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
According to the latest update, the man’s identity has been confirmed, and steps are being taken through his country’s embassy to notify his family.
