Eight people were killed today by Russian strikes in Ukraine, one day after Russia warned that it would achieve its military objectives “regardless of the circumstances.”

Two people, including a 16-year-old girl, were killed in bombings this afternoon in the city of Sumy, according to Ukrainian Interior Minister Ivan Vygusky.

One person was killed and four others were injured in Kyiv and its outskirts, where residential buildings and industrial facilities sustained damage. Local media reported that damage was also caused to the headquarters of one of the largest mobile phone companies, Kyivstar.

According to Ukrainian police, one person was killed in Bucha by a Russian drone strike.

In recent days, Moscow has been bombing data centers, causing internet access problems in certain areas.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that three people were killed overnight by Russian strikes in Zaporizhzhia. Authorities in Odessa, for their part, reported a “massive strike” in the southern part of the city, resulting in the death of one man.

Over the past week, Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 2,200 long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, 1,650 aerial bombs, and 38 missiles.

Kyiv accuses Moscow of causing a humanitarian crisis in the community of Olesky, in the Kherson region, by obstructing the delivery of aid and the evacuation of residents, having effectively blockaded it. Today, the head of the Ukrainian administration in Kherson, Oleksandr Prokudi, announced that a large-scale food delivery operation using unmanned aerial vehicles made it possible to deliver 4 metric tons ofof goods to the city. As he said, approximately 2,000 people are Moscow’s “hostages” in this community located on the front line, on the banks of the Dnieper River.

Last Monday, the Kremlin acknowledged that there are difficulties in supplying residents with food and medicine but blamed Kyiv, claiming that the Ukrainian army is obstructing the delivery of aid by launching attacks.

In the Russian-occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, a strike by a Ukrainian drone claimed the life of a woman in the city of Enerhodar, said Maxim Pukhov, the mayor appointed by Moscow.
