The Community Council of Agios Georgios Silikos invites young and old alike to a special celebration dedicated to grapes, Cypriot tradition, local flavors, and rural culture. On Sunday, October 11, 2026, the square in Agios Georgios Silikos will come alive with music, dancing, flavors, and activities, in a celebration aimed at highlighting the richness and authenticity of the Cypriot countryside.
ALPHA Radio will be there to provide musical accompaniment for this special celebration and lift everyone’s spirits, with a live broadcast from ALPHA Radio from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., hosted by radio producers Kostas Karnakis and Rafaela Miltiadous.
Visitors will have the opportunity to discover and sample traditional Cypriot dishes and local products, participate in hands-on workshops, watch traditional dances and music, and enjoy a day full of experiences for the whole family.
A special highlight of the festival will be the cooking demonstrations with Chrysou Lefou, showcasing flavors and traditional recipes connected to the region and Cypriot culinary traditions.
The event will also feature beautiful photo spots, activities for children, local products, and plenty of opportunities for visitors to experience an authentic and hospitable Cypriot setting.
