Two former ministers, a former deputy minister, and a lawyer are among the advisors to the President of the Democratic Party.
As stated in an announcement by the Democratic Party, as part of efforts to strengthen the Democratic Party’s political and policy work and to draw on knowledge, experience, and expertise in key areas, DIKO announces the new Advisors to the party’s President, Mr. Nikola Papadopoulos.
Specifically, the following individuals will assume the roles of Advisors to the President:
- Pension Policy: Yiannos Panagiotou, former Minister of Labor and Social Security, and Fanis Tryfonos, former Director General of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism and former Director of the Social Security Service
- Energy Policy: George Papanastasiou, former Minister of Energy, Trade, and Industry.
- Social Welfare: Marilena Evangelou, former Deputy Minister of Welfare.
- European Affairs: Zacharias Poutziouris, lawyer.
