The Ministry of the Interior announces the start of the application process under the Housing Plan for the Allocation of Plots of Land to Families Based on Income and Other Criteria, which was approved by the Council of Ministers on September 16, 2026.
Following the publication of the Plan on September 18, 2026, the District Administrations are today issuing the first Notices by District, with the aim of accepting applications from interested beneficiaries for the allocation of existing unallocated plots of land—resulting from previous state land subdivision procedures—in the Communities/Municipal Districts included in the relevant Notices.
Interested parties may submit an application for the allocation of a plot of land using the designated Application Form. Applications must be submitted to the offices of the relevant District Administration, in the district to which the community or municipal district where the unallocated plot is located belongs, no later than November 30, 2026.
For more information, the relevant Notices, the Application Form, and the detailed Guide to the Plan are available on the websites of the District Administrations and on the website of the Ministry of the Interior.
Please note that, in the near future, new Notices are expected to be issued regarding the submission of applications for the allocation of additional plots to Communities/Municipal Districts, for which the necessary preparatory work for their publication will have been completed in the meantime.
Furthermore, it is recalled that the Plan provides for the creation of new plots through the subdivision of state-owned land in Communities that express interest in participating in the Plan. This expands families’ access to residential land and strengthens efforts to address housing needs, particularly in rural communities.
