Stefanos Tsitsipas has advanced to the main draw of the Japan Open (ATP 500), which is being held in Tokyo.
The Greek tennis player, ranked No. 44 in the world, defeated Rinki Hijikata (Australia, No. 82) in just 66 minutes and will continue his run in the Japanese capital.
Now the tough part begins for the 28-year-old athlete, as in the first round of the tournament (ATP 500) he will play on Wednesday against one of the following: Taylor Fritz (USA, No. 12), Rafael Hodar (Spain, No. 13), Tomás Echevarría (Argentina, No. 30), or Luca Van Ase (France, No. 43).
