At 4:57 p.m., a call was received reporting a fire involving motor vehicles that were parked inside a vehicle repair shop in Larnaca.
The Larnaca Fire Station “Andreas Papadopoulos” with two fire trucks, and the fire was brought under control at 5:15 p.m.
As a result of the fire and the heat, one vehicle sustained extensive damage, while two others sustained minor damage. One person was picked up by an ambulance crew and transported to the Emergency Department of Larnaca General Hospital with minor burns. The fire was caused during work on a vehicle, resulting in the ignition of fuel.
