A serious altercation between a 75-year-old man from Albania and a 65-year-old Greek man occurred at noon on Monday, September 28, at a construction site on Gennimata Street in Glyfada.
Specifically, according to the Hellenic Police, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the two men were working at the same construction site. During a heated altercation over financial disputes, the 75-year-old attacked the 65-year-old with a hacksaw, injuring him in the neck, ribs, and abdomen.
The victim was taken to the “Red Cross” hospital, where he is being treated and is out of danger, while the assailant was arrested by officers from the DIAS unit who arrived at the scene after the incident.
