Zinedine Zidane will earn the same salary as his predecessor, Didier Deschamps, as head coach of the French national team.
According to a report in L’Equipe, the French coach earns—gross—300,000 euros per month, or… 10,000 per day.
However, unlike Deschamps, “Zizou” has waived the image rights bonuses paid after each international match.
This choice allows him to avoid certain restrictions related to the French national team’s commercial partners, as he has contracts with various companies, primarily Adidas.
To compensate for this lack of bonuses, the French Football Federation (FFF) has included more substantial bonuses in the deal for major tournaments, particularly the World Cup and the European Championship.
