Two Israeli nationals were arrested in connection with the case; according to the same reports, they appear to have arrived in Cyprus recently.
Investigators from the Cyprus Anti-Narcotics Agency (YKAN) are looking into whether this new case is linked to another case involving a large quantity of ketamine that is already under investigation by the authorities.
The two suspects are expected to appear in court on Wednesday so that the police’s request for a detention order can be considered.
The YKAN’s investigation is ongoing.
