Cristiano Ronaldo has been the focus of discussion in Portugal after he did not participate in the national team’s final training session ahead of the match against Denmark. Although the 41-year-old forward is not dealing with any injury issues, he did not follow the regular training schedule in Malmö.
Ronaldo was present at the training facility as usual, had a brief conversation with Jorge Jesus, and then returned to the hotel, where he followed an individual workout routine in the gym. According to the Portuguese Football Federation, his decision was linked to the absence of specific equipment he considered necessary for his training, while any concerns regarding his physical condition were denied.
Shortly afterward, the Portuguese star posted on social media, wearing the national team jersey and accompanying the photo with the Portuguese flag and a red heart, showing his connection to the national team.
