A second flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv is proceeding as scheduled, contrary to incorrect reports in Israeli media claiming that the aircraft was returning to its base.

The misinformation appears to have been caused by a malfunction in flight-tracking websites, which reported that flight FDB1081 was changing course toward Dubai.

However, the aircraft has not transmitted any distress signals, and tracking data show that it is continuing its flight to Tel Aviv without any problems and is not returning to the UAE.
A life-or-death struggle took place earlier on flydubai flight FZ1073. The first officer attempted to take control of the aircraft but was stopped by the second pilot with the help of passengers. Israeli authorities are now openly referring to the incident as a terrorist act.
