An 85-year-old woman was found unconscious during efforts to extinguish a fire that broke out in a single-family home in Sidirokastro, Serres.
The Fire Department’s Operations Center was notified of the incident around 4:30 a.m. Six firefighters arrived at the scene in three vehicles and rescued the elderly woman, after which an EKAV ambulance arrived to transport her.
