From the hospital, the 32-year-old woman described the terrifying moments she experienced inside her home in Lavrio after she was attacked last night —along with her partner—by her ex-boyfriend.
The shocking incident occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday, while the woman’s two young children—whom she had with the attacker—were also at home.
After the attack, the 32-year-old Romanian perpetrator voluntarily went to the Lavreotiki Police Station, where he turned himself in to the police.
“He slashed me—he stabbed me all over.”
As the 32-year-old woman described from the hospital to ANT1, her Romanian ex-partner entered their home after climbing onto the balcony from a neighboring house and breaking down a door with a sledgehammer.
“He climbed onto the second-floor balcony from a neighboring house, smashed an aluminum kitchen door with a sledgehammer, got inside with a knife, and attacked us,” said the 32-year-old woman.
“My partner, trying to protect me, pushed him away, and I managed to get outside, but he chased me and kept stabbing me all the way out. I have punctures in my lungs and multiple stab wounds—on my face, ribs, and back,” she continued.
In addition to his ex-partner, the assailant also stabbed the 32-year-old woman’s current partner, even attempting to cut off his genitals.
The two victims were initially taken to the Asklipieio Hospital in Voula. The man underwent surgery and is in serious condition, intubated. He will be transferred to the ICU at KAT Hospital.
The woman left the Asclepieion Hospital in Voula and was transferred to a private hospital. She is in good condition and requested to go there because she has private health insurance.
