Monaco’s future—which remains uncertain—is still up in the air. A few months after winning the French league title, the Principality’s team finds itself in an extremely difficult position, as it no longer has a spot in any national league, with the Financial Control Committee giving a “red” light on the team’s participation even in the third-tier league.
This morning, the club had a hearing at the Regional Court of Monaco regarding the organization’s financial situation and viability. However, no decision was reached, and the court postponed its ruling until next Tuesday, October 6.

According to “L’Équipe,” however, Monaco’s future looks more than bleak, as all signs point to the team potentially being declared insolvent and facing liquidation.
We remind you that a few days ago, the Principality’s team officially contacted the ABA League administration, requesting to compete in the Adriatic League’s second division during this season, following its exclusion from France, due to the very serious financial problems it continues to face.
