The cell phones of those involved in the case of Giorgos Mazonakis’s death have begun to “speak,” as the first details from the results of the wiretap orders are coming to light.
It should be noted that, according to the claims made by the doctor from the Karneadou clinic in Kolonaki, who is currently in pretrial detention, she did not administer alcohol to Giorgos Mazonakis.

However, as revealed by SKAI TV, citing evidence from the results of the lifting of telephone privacy, the following internet search was conducted on one of the cell phones of those involved: “antidote for propofol.”
Propofol is a powerful short-acting anesthetic, which, as confirmed by the anesthesiologist (who was called by the doctors during the artist’s final moments) confirms in her testimony, was administered to the artist.
Another piece of evidence found on a cell phone being examined in connection with this case is a web search query for the phrase: “Mydriasis. What do I do?”
The report does not specify on which of the devices each of these specific searches was conducted, as the evidence is subject to the ongoing investigation.
What the authorities are investigating
New details are coming to light in the investigation into the circumstances of the singer’s death, as the 32nd regular investigating judge attempts to reconstruct, minute by minute, what happened at noon on September 9 at the clinic on Karneadou Street in Kolonaki.
The investigation is focusing on the statements of employees and EKAΒ paramedics, the testimonies of other individuals who were at the clinic, as well as the statements of the two doctors accused in the case who have been remanded in custody.
The investigative materials reveal differing accounts of what happened during the critical minutes following the 53-year-old singer’s collapse. Particular importance is being placed on the discrepancies in timing, as well as on the contradictions reportedly found in individual statements. At the same time, the investigation is expected to make use of digital data collected from the clinic and electronic devices.
What the Nurses Testified
According to statements from clinic employees, tension prevailed in the area after Giorgos Mazonakis collapsed. One of the nurses reportedly described the two doctors as being in a state of agitation, while the 53-year-old was unconscious and in a particularly serious condition.
Another nurse, a retiree who had recently been working at the clinic, reportedly stated that she entered the room with a colleague and proceeded to measure the singer’s blood pressure. According to her testimony, the reading on the blood pressure cuff was particularly low.
She is also reported to have described a phone call with an anesthesiologist, from whom she sought instructions regarding the medication administered during the procedure, as well as whether an antidote was available.
