Germany will seek revenge against Greece on Sunday night (Oct. 4, 9:45 p.m.) at Toumba Stadium following the “blue-and-whites’” away win in Augsburg, with Jürgen Klopp expected to make further changes to the starting lineup.
In fact, Finn Dammen is the frontrunner to start in goal and appears set to make his debut with his country’s national team.
Thus, if he plays, the Augsburg goalkeeper will be the fourth different goalkeeper to start in as many matches for Germany in this year’s Nations League.
To find the last time something similar happened in Germany’s matches, one would have to go back six years, when Manuel Neuer, Ter Stegen, Kevin Trapp, and Bernd Leno played in four consecutive matches.
