Sunday’s (10/04) Nations League schedule doesn’t just feature Greece’s big match against Germany at Toumba; there are other games taking place at the same time that are just as exciting.
First, in Greece’s group, the Netherlands hosts Serbia in Eindhoven and is looking for a win that will keep it in the top two, securing a spot in the Nations League “Round of 8.” On the other hand, the team led by Jović and Živković is looking for its first points, as they’ve suffered three consecutive losses, and at this point, relegation to League B seems like the most likely outcome.
In Group 4 of League A, all eyes are on the match between Portugal and Norway, with the Portuguese playing their first home game since the drama surrounding Cristiano Ronaldo and his departure from the national team. On the purely competitive front, Portugal is doing exceptionally well, having won all three of its matches, while Erling Haaland’s team remains stuck on three points after two consecutive losses.
In League B, specifically in Group 3, Kosovo hosts Austria, while Ireland faces off against Israel. Finally, in Group 1 of League D, Malta and Andorra will face off, as will Azerbaijan and Lithuania in Group 2.
