The death toll from the passenger catamaran sinking off the coast of Cyprus, near Kyrenia, in late August, has risen to 19, while nine people remain missing, as the investigation reveals serious negligence.
The FiloJet was carrying 267 people when it capsized shortly after departing the port on August 30; 239 people were rescued at sea.

The occupying “authorities” in the occupied territories reported that the wreck was located at a depth of 554 meters off the coast of Kyrenia.
They stated that operations at the shipwreck site have been completed, but efforts to locate the missing persons will continue.
