Alarm bells are ringing in Marseille ahead of the match against Olympiacos for Matchday 2 of the Europa League group stage!
The French team, already… battered, appears set to face yet another problem for the match against the Piraeus side. This is because Pierre-Emile Højbjerg experienced severe discomfort and requested an immediate substitution during Denmark’s match against Wales, which the Scandinavians won 1-0 in the fourth round of the Nations League.
It should be noted that Højbjerg’s injury adds to Marseille’s long list of injuries, as Kondogbia, Arit, and Nadi are already dealing with injuries, while during the international break, Cornelius, Guiri, and Abdelly, among others, also sustained injuries.
As a reminder, Olympiacos’s match against Marseille at the “Velodrome” will take place on October 15.
