The police have launched an investigation on their own initiative into the brutal beating of a delivery driver in the middle of the street.
The incident occurred on Friday afternoon on Spyrou Kyprianou Street in Limassol, with an eyewitness capturing the brutal beating on video. As seen in the video, the driver and another person who was in the vehicle get out and begin violently beating a food delivery driver who was standing next to the vehicle.

According to the RoadReportCY page, which posted the video on social media, eyewitnesses reported that before the brutal beating, a passenger in the vehicle grabbed the delivery driver from the storage compartment and pulled him out, causing him to fall to the ground.
After the beating, the perpetrators got into the car and fled the scene.
No complaint was filed with the authorities, and the police have launched an investigation on their own initiative.
