The decision of the KOP Appeals Committee regarding Anorthosis’s penalty has been announced.
As officially announced by the Federation, the appeal was unanimously upheld, and thus the Judicial Committee’s decision to hold one match behind closed doors and impose a ban on fan travel was overturned.
The official announcement: “The CFF Appeals Court convened today and reviewed Anorthosis’s appeal against the Judicial Committee’s decision dated September 23, 2026.
The Appeals Committee unanimously upheld Anorthosis’s appeal. Consequently, the penalties of playing one match behind closed doors and prohibiting fans from traveling to an away match are annulled. The fine remains in effect.
